The NDU hostel accommodation charge for both new and returning students is now available, particularly for fresh and final-year students. The management of Niger Delta University Yenagoa prioritizes both 100 level and final-year students over students in the 200, 300, and 400level programs, if applicable. This is because it allows freshers to readily settle in and plan for a new part of their lives, as well as easy access to other new students, materials, tutorials, and lecture halls on a first-come, first-served basis. This is also the case with final year students, although it does not mean The Niger Delta University Yenagoa hostel accommodation is suitable for students. NDU hostel accommodation fees vary by hostel. I’ll post the hostel fees below, so you can decide if you want to use the school hostel or rent a room outside of the NDU campus. Please keep in mind that hostel lodging at NDU is optional. However, it is recommended that first-year students stay on campus for at least one year.
Please keep in mind that NDU school fees, acceptance fees, and hostel accommodation fees are all mandatory fees that every new student must pay upon admission. While the hostel accommodation fee is not mandatory, it is an important one for freshers. In addition to the cost-benefit implications, the benefits listed above should be considered.
NDU HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION FEE
All NDU hostels’ accommodation fees are shown here. The dormitory housing is available for both new and returning students for the academic year 2025/2026.
The hostel accommodation fee ranges between 20,000 and 45,000 Naira per student.
HOW TO APPLY FOR NDU ACCOMMODATION FEE
To apply for NDU hostel accommodation fees, newly admitted students must follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1: To apply for NDU hostel accommodation, go to https://srm.ndu.edu.ng/login and enter your username and password.
Step 2: Proceed with the payment process.
Step 3: Take your payment proof (online slip) to the student affairs department for documentation and hostel assignment.

- To book a bed in a reserved hall, students must submit a payment slip to student affairs.
- Due to limited hostel space, bed space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
