The LAUTECH hostel accommodation charge for both new and returning students is now available to most, particularly fresh and final-year students. The management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso prioritizes 100-level and final-year students over 200-level, 300-level, and 400-level students, if applicable. This is because it allows freshers to readily settle in and plan for a new part of their lives, as well as easy access to other new students, materials, tutorials, and lecture halls on a first-come, first-served basis. This is also the case with final year students, although it does not mean the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso hostel accommodation is suitable for students. LAUTECH hostel lodging fees vary by hostel. I’ll put the hostel fees below, so you can decide if you want to use the school hostel or rent a place outside of the LAUTECH campus. Please be aware that hostel lodging at LAUTECH is not required. However, it is recommended that fresh students stay within the school campus at least in their first year.
Please keep in mind that LAUTECH school fees, acceptance fees, and hostel accommodation fees are all mandatory fees that every new student must pay upon admission. While the hostel accommodation fee is not mandatory, it is an important one for freshers. In addition to the cost-benefit implications, the benefits listed above should be considered.
LAUTECH HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION FEE 2025/2026
The following are the hostel housing fees for all LAUTECH hostels. The hostel accommodations are available for both new and returning students for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The hostel accommodation fee ranges between 55,000 and 80,000 Naira each student.
HOW TO APPLY FOR LAUTECH ACCOMMODATION FEE 2025/2026
To apply for LAUTECH hostel room fees, newly admitted students should follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1: To apply for LAUTECH hostel accommodation, visit the school portal at https://student.lautech.edu.ng/login.php Login with your username and password.
Step 2: Follow the instructions to make payment.
Step 3: Take your payment proof (online slip) to the student affairs division for documentation and hostel placement.
NOTE:
Students who desire space in any of the designated halls should submit a payment sheet to student affairs.
Because hostel accommodations are limited, bed space will be allocated on a ‘FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS’.
