1. Log in to the student portal at portal.futa.edu.ng using your JAMB registration number (freshers) or matric number (returning students).
2. Complete your course registration and pay all compulsory school fees first. The hostel application is only activated after fee clearance.
3. Go to the “Hostel Management” or “Accommodation” section on the portal.
4. Select your preferred hostel type (standard, semi-executive, or executive).
5. Generate the payment invoice (RRR code) and pay the exact amount displayed.
6. You can pay at any commercial bank branch (UBA, Zenith, GTBank, etc.) or online via Remita using a debit card.
7. Upload the payment receipt to the portal immediately after the transaction.
8. Wait for confirmation (usually 24–72 hours). Once approved, print your hostel allocation slip from the portal.
