Federal Polytechnic Bali, located in Taraba State, is one of Nigeria’s newer federal polytechnics, established to provide practical, industry-focused technical and vocational education. The institution offers National Diploma (ND) programmes across three main schools, with plans to expand HND offerings in the coming years. For the 2026 academic session, Federal Polytechnic Bali offers 12 accredited ND courses, all fully approved by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). This updated list is based on the official polytechnic portal and NBTE records as of December 2025.
The polytechnic keeps fees very affordable for a federal institution. ND programmes cost between ₦35,000 and ₦55,000 per session. Acceptance fee for fresh ND students is ₦15,000 (non-refundable). Federal Polytechnic Bali also provides bursaries and work-study placements for students who demonstrate financial need or good academic performance. The 2026 session continues to emphasize hands-on training in engineering, sciences, and management fields relevant to the North-East region.

Why Federal Polytechnic Bali Is a Practical Choice in 2026
Federal Polytechnic Bali is still a young institution, which means smaller class sizes, easier access to lecturers, and less competition for practical training slots. The polytechnic has modern workshops, computer laboratories, and active industrial training linkages with companies in Taraba, Adamawa, and Gombe. Graduates often find employment quickly in government agencies, manufacturing firms, banks, and private businesses. The calm environment in Bali also helps students concentrate on their studies.
If you are looking for a federal polytechnic that is not overcrowded, has manageable fees, and emphasises technical and vocational training, Federal Polytechnic Bali is worth serious consideration. The admission process is transparent, and spaces are still available for most programmes in 2026.
