The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) is not a place where admitted students simply receive military training. Admitted candidates also get rigorous academic training as Officer Cadets for a period of five years.

Graduates will receive a university first degree (BSc, BEng, or BA) as well as a commission in Nigeria’s Armed Forces. The following are the courses offered at NDA.
