Gateway ICT Polytechnic ND and HND Admission Requirements 2025/2026
If you intend to study at this university in the near future, you must first understand the admission requirements. The requirements listed below are divided into two categories: ND and HND; you must meet the requirements for the program you are interested in.
National Diploma (ND) Admission Requirements
To apply for admission to the ND program at Gateway ICT Polytechnic, candidates must:
- Gateway ICT Polytechnic is their first preferred institution for the UTME.
- Score at least 120 on the UTME, as required by JAMB.
- Have at least five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, from no more than two sittings.
- Meet the exact topic combination requirements of their selected course.
- Must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.
- Participate in the school’s post-UTME screening exercise and achieve the required cut-off score.
Higher National Diploma (HND) Admission Requirements
Candidates seeking admission to the HND program at Gateway ICT Polytechnic must meet the following requirements:
- Have a National Diploma (ND) diploma from a recognized polytechnic, with at least a Lower Credit in a related discipline.
- Possess at least one year of post-ND industrial training (IT) experience. Candidates who pass the ND must have at least two years of industrial training experience.
- Present O’Level results totaling at least five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
- Ensure that their academic transcript is provided straight to the college before the admissions deadline.
- Participate in the polytechnic’s HND screening process.
