FUTO Admission Requirements
These are the general course requirements for all courses offered at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. Candidates should familiarize themselves with these prerequisites before applying for a course of study.
- Five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, from WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or other equivalents in no more than two (2) sittings.
- A minimal cut-off mark of 180 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Candidates for Science courses must have credit passes in English Language and Mathematics, as well as five other science topics relevant to the chosen path of study.
- Candidates for Art courses must have credit passes in English, Mathematics, and five other arts disciplines relevant to their chosen path of study.
